PAUL ROBESON
FOUNDATION
Paul Robeson (1898-1976) was a citizen of the world on a courageous quest for global social justice. In a seamless fusion of art and activism, his voice was an instrument of beauty and a megaphone for the marginalized.
OUR MISSION:
The Paul Robeson Foundation inspires, educates and amplifies the voices of a new generation of artists, activists, and global citizens through the legacy of Paul Robeson.
“The artist must elect to fight for freedom or for slavery. I have made my choice.
I had no alternative.”
-London, 1937
